COLOMBO : The ministry said the UAE air force and air defense successfully intercepted and destroyed 152 of 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 506 of 541 drones launched by Iran, while some missiles and drones fell into the sea or struck civilian targets.
It noted that debris from intercepted missiles and drones caused minor to moderate damage to several civilian properties.
