The Serendib Schools Development Foundation (SSDF) successfully held its Teacher Training Graduation Ceremony on 20th December 2025 at the Duncan White Auditorium, Ministry of Sports, Colombo
The event was graced by Rizvi Zaheed, Chairman of SSDF, as the Chief Guest, and Mufthy Hashim, Education Vertical Head of SSDF, and M. Najeeb, Provincial Director for Tamil Medium Schools, as Guests of Honour.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of SSDF Board Members, Principals, Partner Organizations, Well-wishers, Awardees, Parents, Teachers, and other distinguished guests, making it a truly memorable occasion.
A total of 55 teachers were awarded their certificates after successfully completing the SSDF Teacher Training Programme. This intensive training was conducted by expert resource persons from the National Institute of Education (NIE). The programme included regular assessments, supervision, and final examinations, ensuring that the teachers met professional standards.
In a heartwarming moment of appreciation, SSDF was presented with a Gratitude Award by the graduating teachers in recognition of the noble service rendered. Additionally, SSDF staff members were also honored for their dedication and continuous support in making this programme a grand success.
This event stood as a reflection to SSDF’s unwavering commitment to uplifting education through quality teacher development and holistic school support.
