5,000 Dilapidated and Incomplete Houses Renovated and Handed Over to owners

Abdul Rahman Azeem.

A total of 5,000 houses that had remained incomplete or fallen into a state of disrepair under the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) have been renovated and handed over to their respective beneficiaries under a government housing programme.

The programme aims to provide improved and livable housing conditions for beneficiaries by completing unfinished houses and restoring homes that had become dilapidated.

As part of the programme, a renovated house in the Maligawatte area was handed over to a beneficiary at a ceremony attended by Defence Minister Sunil Watagala and Deputy Speaker Rizwi Sally.
