COLOMBO : The Director General of Health Services of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Asela Gunawardana has approved 50 persons to perform religious activities in all Mosques following COVID 19 health guidelines.
The facility has been given on a request made by Al-Haj As-Seyed Dr Hassan Moulana Al-Quadiri Muslim Religious and Culture Affairs Co-ordinator to the Buddhasasana, Religious and Culture Affairs Minister Hon. Prime Minister to mark the Birthday of Holy Prophet Seyyidina Muhammadh Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam on 19th of October.
Sri Lanka Waqf board will soon issue guidelines for this Majlis.
