A total of 3,297 COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Sri Lanka, stated the Epidemiology Unit.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 195,844.

COLOMBO : The Director General of Health Services confirmed 42 more coronavirus related deaths, pushing the country’s death toll due to the virus to 1,608.
It also revealed that 17 of the deceased are female and that three of the victims are below the age of 50.
The Ministry of Health also reported that another 642 persons have tested positive for coronavirus today (03), increasing the daily total of new Covid-19 cases to 3,264.
This brings the total cases count in the country thus far to 195,811.
This is also the fifth instance of the daily count of Covid-19 cases in Sri Lanka crossing the 3,000-mark.
