COLOMBO : The RPSL Consortium, a Company Limited by Guarantee dedicated to fostering peace and ethnic harmony in Sri Lanka, is pleased to announce its Second Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for May 19, 2024, followed by a fellowship. This significant event will bring together esteemed members of the Consortium to discuss the progress, challenges, and plans of the consortium.
Originally established in April 2019 as Regain Peace Sri Lanka, the RPSL Consortium was formed to build bridges between communities following the Easter Sunday attacks. Since its inception, the Consortium has evolved into a robust platform that unites intellectuals, professionals, and community leaders committed to promoting peace and unity in Sri Lanka. Its strategic initiatives include interfaith dialogues, community empowerment, advocacy, and cultural integration. With a diverse membership base, the Consortium works tirelessly to reposition the Muslim community in the national context, ensuring recognition and respect for their rich history and contributions.
The Annual General Meeting is a critical platform for reflection and planning, enabling the Consortium to engage with its members, discuss important issues, and chart a course for future activities. The participation of Consortium members and stakeholders is crucial for the continued success and impact of the Consortium’s initiatives. Therefore, the Board of Management invites all its dedicated members to join the AGM, as their participation and insights are invaluable as the Consortium continues to work towards peace, progress, and prosperity.
