PERADENIYA: A 21-year-old young girl who was treated at the Peradenjya Govt. hospital died after getting two continuous doses of injections for her stomach ailments.
According to the mother of the deceased, Madushika Jayaratne from Pothupitiya ,Kaduganawa , her daughter was admitted to the hospital for continuous stomach pain .
On Tuesday morning on July 11, the nurse had given two injections continuously and the patient developed a pain in her stomach and ran to the toilet to vomit . Thereafter ,she passed away at the hospital.
